Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. is seeking an R&D Supervisor to lead a small team of scientists in developing new cheese products and processes, improving quality and cost, and supporting customers on trials and startups in the Green Bay area.

The role focuses on processed and natural cheese categories, with a flexible hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) at the Green Bay Home Office. This leader will drive projects from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering or related field.
5+ years experience in dairy and cultured products.
History of successful new product development from concept to implementation.
Demonstrated ability to lead project teams.
Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Leads teams in the development of new products and processes which are cross functional and of high impact to Schreiber Foods.
Provides project guidance and support through prioritization, effective and efficient resource utilization, and problem solving.
Effectively handles pressures from customers, suppliers, partners and management; takes firm stands on technical expertise when necessary.
Has a comprehensive understanding of department SOPs.
Responsible to work with team members to continually update and improve SOP based on feedback.
