Schreiber Foods in Smithfield, Utah, seeks an Operations Excellence professional to lead plant-level Lean & Six Sigma projects, standardize processes, and drive KPIs using DMAIC and structured problem solving.

The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and strong compliance with food-safety standards; on-site position with relocation support and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• ASQ Green Belt Certification required.
• ASQ Black Belt Certification preferred.
• Technical Competency - DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen, and Change Management.
• High Volume continuous process flow experience, including experimental design.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Ops Excellence program at the plant and coach teams.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to improve KPIs.
• Update process controls to reflect best practices and communicate requirements.
• Maintain cross-functional relationships with Quality, Safety, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, FDA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Drive data analysis to establish baselines and exceptions limits.
