Job summary

Greystar, a global leader in rental housing, is seeking a Service Technician for the Cary, NC property. The role focuses on maintaining building systems, completing work orders, and ensuring safety and quality across the grounds and common areas.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and timely documentation of work requests. Required EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license support on-site operations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials and track inventory from the maintenance department.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities and performs general cleaning as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible.
