Job summary

JPI is seeking an on-site Superintendent to manage all aspects of multifamily projects, including Garden, Walkup, Affordable, and wrap products. You will lead field teams, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and collaborate with project managers and partners to meet project milestones.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling knowledge, and a focus on building a culture of mentorship, accountability, and continuous improvement on the jobsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is preferred.
• OSHA 30 HR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 4–6 years of experience preferred; multi-family construction supervision preferred.
• Familiarity with multi-family construction procedures, building codes, and scheduling practices.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advocate JPI culture and guiding principles on site.
• Develop and maintain a TEAM culture on the project site.
• Communicate clearly with project team and document conversations.
• Oversee scheduling with the field team and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Review plans for compliance, constructability, and phasing; document deviations via RFIs.
• Oversee submittals, RFI closure, and coordination items.
• Support close-out documentation and project close-out processes.
