Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive to drive adoption of a new oncology therapy in a defined US territory. You will build strategic relationships with healthcare professionals and health systems, lead territory planning, and collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to optimize selling materials and patient access.

The role requires 5–7+ years of pharmaceutical sales, strong analytics, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

5–7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device sales.
Strong analytics and budget management experience.
Proven ability to manage key accounts across complex healthcare networks.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze territory level sales data.
Proactively communicate with the marketing team on selling materials.
Participate on cross-functional teams to support key accounts.
Teamwork with other account managers across the country.
Key account management engaging the entire care team.
Adverse event mitigation, patient safety monitoring.
Educate patient care teams about initiation and management of therapy per protocols.
Attend local oncology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, advocacy events (evenings or weekends).
