Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Account Executive to drive the launch and promotion of a new oncology therapy. The role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key accounts across the assigned geography.

You will collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and care teams to ensure aligned messaging, physician engagement, and patient support throughout the product launch.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device sales.
• Strong analytics with budget planning and management.
• Ability to foster relationships with senior management and external partners.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Launch experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Rare disease/oncology/hematology experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze territory level sales data.
• Communicate with the marketing team on selling materials.
• Support key accounts within the geography on cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with other account managers nationwide.
• Engage care teams and manage adverse event mitigation as needed.
• Educate patient care teams on product initiation and protocols.
• Attend local oncology society meetings and related events.
