Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to heavy trucks in client locations. You will diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems, and road test to ensure proper operation.

The role requires you to manage parts on a service truck, complete DOT-required forms, and maintain safety standards across mobile operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 3 years' related experience or 5 years' related field experience.
• Must supply basic hand tools.
• ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• DOT pre-employment screenings and DOT physicals.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling and engine systems on trucks.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Manage parts inventory and vehicle safety checks on company service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and documentation on RO using mobile tools.
