Job summary

Cayuse Holdings seeks an on-site IT Support Specialist to deploy and maintain IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and conference room tech at client sites in Alaska. You will handle incident resolution, hardware deployment, software imaging, and user training, ensuring compliance with security policies and service standards.

The role requires 8+ years in IT support, IA certifications, and the ability to obtain interim clearance.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years of professional IT technical support experience.
• Current 8570 IA Baseline Certification at IAT Level I.
• Current 8570 IA CE certification.
• Experience in government environment and end-user support.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 in enterprise, Office 2013/365.
• ServiceNow or similar ITSM systems experience.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical, operational, and training support for PCs, output devices, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, test desktops, laptops, and printers to standard.
• Configure OS baselines, security settings, and policy adherence.
• Install, verify licenses and patches for software packages.
• Troubleshoot incidents with hardware/software to identify root causes.
• Coordinate hardware repairs with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve LAN-related device issues and escalate to network admin when needed.
• Evaluate and optimize system configurations and deployments.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and changes in ticketing/knowledge systems.
• Provide user training and one-on-one assistance on hardware/software usage.
