Job summary

Allyon is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician in Seattle, WA to install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software. You will provide on-site and remote support to program offices, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure IT policy compliance in mission environments.

The role requires a Secret clearance, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and 4 years in IT support. Travel will be required as part of field deployments and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT/CS or related field with 4 years in IT/field/user support roles.
• Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting; IT equipment setup and maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Proficiency with remote IT support tools and ticketing systems; ability to collaborate across teams and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
• Provide on-site technical support by deploying to program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
• Conduct network performance evaluations, check conference room equipment, support end‑user devices, and ensure compliance with IT policies.
• Assist with IT equipment disposal training.
• Support users onsite and remotely with technical and operational needs.
• Deploy PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Configure operating systems and install applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and printer issues.
• Manage and resolve support tickets through ServiceNow.
• Contribute to system improvements and operational reliability.
