Job summary

Cayuse Holdings, LLC is seeking a Computer User Support Specialist, Journeyman to provide on-site IT support for field offices across Hawaii. The role includes wellness checks, hardware/software troubleshooting, and training on disposal processes.

Travel to various field locations and compliance with IT policies are essential. Requires a bachelor’s in IT or related field, 4+ years of IT experience, CompTIA Security, and a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT roles including field and/or user support.
• CompTIA Security certification is mandatory.
• Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Must pass background checks as required by projects/clients at any time during employment.
• Proficient with Microsoft and Adobe toolsets (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat).

Responsibilities

• Offer on-site technical support to field offices by conducting IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
• Perform network performance evaluations and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Review, maintain, and verify the functionality of conference room equipment and setup requirements.
• Provide technical assistance for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals; setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide resolutions.
• Assist in training on IT equipment disposal processes and compliance with policies.
• Utilize remote support tools to provide off-site assistance when necessary.
• Track, monitor, and resolve IT issue tickets; document resolutions.
