Job summary

Cayuse Holdings seeks a Desktop Technician III to deliver on-site Tier II IT support across multiple sites, troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and networks. The role emphasizes Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and user guidance with focus on security and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience, a relevant degree, and the ability to travel to client sites while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or combination of education and experience; or equivalent.
• Three years of related technical experience supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, LANs, servers and switches; including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Mail.
• Ability to support GIS and AutoCAD and client-specific software.
• Familiarity with standalone and networked computers and networks; able to work with minimal guidance.
• Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudicated NACI.
• Must pass a background check; additional checks possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site Tier II IT support to users across regional offices, agencies, schools, and facilities.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software including Windows OS and Office.
• Diagnose and resolve complex operational issues with minimal guidance.
• Perform printer setup and imaging/deployment of devices.
• Support network connectivity and VoIP equipment; document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Travel to client sites as needed to maintain service continuity.
• Assist Field Support Managers and escalate to higher tiers when required.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols.
