Cayuse Holdings, LLC is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist to deliver advanced technical support across client program field offices in Alaska. You will install and configure PCs, output devices, and peripherals, perform OS baseline imaging, and ensure compliance with security policies while maintaining equipment inventories.

This role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, effective communication with end users and teams, and timely incident resolution.

Competenze

• AA/AS degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum eight years of IT technical support experience.
• Current 8570 IA Baseline Certification at IAT Level I (e.g., CE, Network CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security).
• Current 8570 IA Computing Environment (CE) certification.
• Experience in a government environment.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 in enterprise settings.
• Experience with Office 2013 and Office 365.
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT service management systems.
• Experience installing and maintaining enterprise printers/multifunction devices.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start.

Mansioni

• Provide advanced technical, operational, and training support for PCs, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and test desktops, laptops, and peripherals for function and policy compliance.
• Configure OS baseline images and security settings.
• Install, configure, and validate software, including licensing and patches.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate hardware repairs/replacements with vendors and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues coordinating between end users and LAN components; escalate when needed.
• Participate in evaluating system configurations and software deployments to improve performance.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in ticketing/knowledge systems.
• Provide user training and guidance on hardware, software, and peripherals.
