Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) seeks a Lead Construction HSE Manager to provide on-site support for a pharmaceutical megaproject in Lebanon, IN. You will lead a safety team for construction activities, ensure compliance, and report to client leaders. The role is full-time, 12 months, renewable, with 40–72 hours/week on-site.

You will guide HSE system implementation, coordinate with client and ERM leadership, and drive continuous safety improvements across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety, or related field.
• 20 years of on-site construction health & safety with at least 8 years in management.
• Certification in CHST, ASP, CSP preferred.
• Pharmaceutical or high-tech project experience is highly desired.
• Experience with mega construction project execution.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Site Lead for ERM’s HSE owner’s representative team, coordinating with Client Project Leaders.
• Lead the HSE management system implementation on a pharmaceutical megaproject.
• Act as the primary interface between Client’s Project Leadership, EPC Project Leadership, and ERM’s PMO.
• Provide daily direction and coaching to a team of HSE Managers and specialists, guiding the safety program.
• Lead comprehensive risk assessments across project phases, including pre-task planning.
• Support RCA debriefs and lessons learned with multidisciplinary teams on incidents and near misses.
• Organize and implement an HSE audit and inspection program across all project areas.
