Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is hiring an experienced Construction Safety Specialist to support a pharmaceutical client in Lehigh Valley, PA. The role focuses on on-site observation from an EHS perspective and ensuring health and safety compliance with regulations and ERM standards.

You will be present during all site activities, oversee safety program requirements, and delegate duties within the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction safety or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of on-site construction health & safety experience is required.
• Certifications such as CHST, ASP or CSP are preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Engage with general contractors and subcontractors as the owner's representative.
• Promote client safety culture across contractor groups.
• Conduct on-site observation of construction activities from an EHS perspective.
• Maintain safety-related documentation on site (JHAs, SDS, toolbox talks).
• Train on-site workers and subcontractors on EHS requirements.
• Report compliance with safety procedures to client and project safety personnel.
