Job summary

ERM in Kenosha, WI seeks a Lead Construction HSE Manager to provide on-site support for a pharmaceutical megaproject. Lead a safety team, coordinate with Client project leaders, and ensure OSHA and ERM safety standards are met across all construction activities.

This full-time, limited-term role (12 months, renewable) requires directing the HSE program, conducting risk assessments, organizing audits, and mentoring site personnel and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety, or occupational health and safety, or a related degree preferred.
• 20+ years of on-site construction health & safety experience.
• Minimum 8 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and Construction standards.
• OSHA 30-hour construction, confined space entry, and fall protection training preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to multitask, travel, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Site Lead for ERM’s HSE owner’s representative team, working directly with the Client’s Project Leaders.
• Guide implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE management system on a pharmaceutical megaproject.
• Act as the primary interface between Client’s Project Leadership, EPC Project Leadership, and ERM’s PMO.
• Provide daily direction, prioritization, and coaching to a team of HSE Managers and specialists.
• Organize and implement an HSE audit and inspection program across all project areas.
