Job summary

ERM is hiring a Lead Construction HSE Manager to provide on-site safety leadership for a pharmaceutical megaproject in Lehigh Valley, PA. You will lead a safety team, engage with project leaders, and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

You will be on site for all construction activities, directing the HSE program, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with Owners, EPC teams, subcontractors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety, or related field.
• 20 years on-site construction health & safety experience with at least 8 years in management.
• CHST, ASP, and/or CSP certifications preferred.
• Experience with mega construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.
• OSHA 30-hour construction, confined space and fall protection training completed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety team for construction activities and coordinate with project leaders.
• Oversee HSE program implementation and continuous improvement.
• Serve as SME for HSE matters advising client and contractor leaders.
• Lead risk assessments and debriefs for incidents and near misses.
• Coordinate with Owners, Contractors, Subcontractors and Regulators.
• Organize HSE audit and inspection programs across the project.
