Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking an EHS professional to support owner-side safety oversight on Lebanon, IN construction projects. You will lead safety activities, train workers, and ensure adherence to the project safety plan.

The role requires 3+ years of on-site health & safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and the ability to coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to protect personnel and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, safety, or occupational health and safety preferred.
• 3+ years of on-site construction health & safety experience.
• OSHA 30-hour construction, confined space, and fall protection training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with general contractors and subcontractors as the owner’s representative to oversee safety.
• Promote client’s safety culture across contractor groups and site teams.
• Identify hazards and influence safe work practices on behalf of the owner.
• Perform on-site EHS observations and document compliance with the project safety plan.
• Train on-site workers and subcontractors on EHS oversight program requirements.
• Assist in administering client-directed EHS directives and site safety actions.
