Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an experienced Community Manager to supervise all on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will oversee staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and marketing skills, with emphasis on resident satisfaction, safety, and timely reporting. On-site attendance is essential in this full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community on-site under Regional Manager.
• Manage staff, leasing, maintenance, finances, administration and risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and yearly marketing plans.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, vendor invoices, and reporting to ensure accuracy.
• Lead emergency response and ensure resident satisfaction and safety.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

4+ years housing industry experience

Experience in staff supervision

Fair Housing knowledge
