Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a housing community. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration under the supervision of the Regional Manager.

As on-site leader, you will supervise staff, develop budgets and marketing plans, address resident concerns, ensure compliance with safety and Fair Housing laws, and strive for high operating performance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management; lead on-site staff and ensure staffing needs are met.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure staff training and performance management per company directives.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor finances.
• Oversee leasing, marketing plans, and resident relations.
• Address resident complaints and strive for high resident satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety and fair housing guidelines.
