Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

Regular onsite attendance, staff development, strategic leasing and marketing, and yearly budgets are core responsibilities. Strong leadership and customer service are essential for resident satisfaction and community success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure effective leadership.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans.
• Monitor rent collections and vendor invoices; ensure timely reporting.
• Address resident complaints and maintain high resident satisfaction.

Education
