Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management, ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred or four years housing experience.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under Regional Manager supervision.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure effective performance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor financials.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and charges; manage vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Head emergency team for the property and handle emergencies with staff and residents.
• Plan yearly marketing and leasing strategies and drive resident retention.
