Job summary

Asset Living in Birmingham, Alabama seeks a Community Manager to oversee all on-site operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration to ensure compliance and resident satisfaction.

As an on-site leader, you will implement yearly budgets, marketing plans, and retention programs while coordinating emergency responses and service requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or four years housing industry experience preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property operations on site under Regional Manager.
• Manage staff, leasing, maintenance, and finances.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Plan marketing and resident retention programs.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate service requests.

Education
