Job summary

Colliers is seeking an experienced Project Manager/SME to lead Office Space Fit-Out installations and related architectural components at client sites. This role focuses on planning, design, MEP coordination, and integration of IT, Security, and A/V into project documents.

Experience includes Tenant Improvement projects, FF&E procurement oversight, and strong scheduling capabilities with MS Project and IWMS tools.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering.
• Tenant Improvement project management experience is critical.
• Seasoned experience in fit-out, audio visual installations and all aspects of FFE.
• Familiarity with MEP, FFE, AV, IT and Security regarding when both design and construction are required.
• Strong analytical skills to understand, interpret and communicate critical schedule data and present viable solutions.
• Ability to learn client specific software applications and be technologically capable.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, MS Word and SharePoint
• Five years’ experience with MS Project OR similar scheduling software
• Proficient and comfortable with various web-based project management tools and IWMS systems
• Understanding the project life cycle and ability to drive risk identification, quantification, and control

Responsibilities

• Owner/Client interface and project design team relationship management; main point of contact for Owner/Client.
• Lead on-site activities for office and industrial capital projects; strong emphasis on MEP-related work.
• Seasoned SME in Office Space Fit-Out installations with focus on finishes and specialty installations.
• Lead planning and programming to incorporate facilities operational components into project design and execution.
• Lead IT, Security and A/V equipment planning and integration into architectural and mechanical docs.
• Coordinate RFIs to ensure client engagement on changes; written approvals.
• Coordinate workplace fit-out programming, design, construction docs, and execution phases with documented punch list and close-out.
• Moderate project meetings, agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
• Experience with budget and milestone/schedule development and tracking; document deviations for audit.
• RFP generation, interviewing, analysis & recommendations for Project Team assembly.
• Oversight of FF&E and 3rd party procurement processes.
• Manage cost, change control, and engage with construction team for value-engineering and updates.
• Coordinate with owner’s consultants and contractors; collaborate with Sr. Project Manager Lab/Tech Specialist.
