Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of MANET and spectrum sensing payloads, seeks an experienced Senior Sales Director to lead OEM and Defense Primes sales across North America. You will own revenue targets, build and coach a high-performing team, and drive end-to-end deals from evaluation to MSAs and production orders.

The role requires deep defense/public safety domain knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50%. 100% remote work is possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related technical discipline with 10+ years in sales leadership for unmanned systems or defense/public safety technology.
• Deep understanding of Federal Markets and/or State & Local procurement processes, budgets, and operations.
• 5+ years in a senior sales management or director role, managing high-performing field teams with multi-million-dollar quotas.
• Technical aptitude in RF communications, tactical MANET mesh networking, SDR, and spectrum awareness.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months; U.S. Citizen.
• Background check and drug test required for all employment.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver annual order and revenue targets and long-term production forecasts for the OEM and Defense Primes vertical across North America.
• Lead and develop the sales team; onboard, train, and monitor performance; conduct regular 1-on-1s.
• Drive pipeline velocity, CRM discipline, and accurate forecasting for all deals in the vertical.
• Collaborate with Silvus engineering, product development, marketing, and business development to grow the business.
• Source, interview, and hire to build a top-performing team; address territory gaps.
• Resolve complex customer issues and support high-stakes negotiations and major deals.
• Translate company goals into actionable daily tasks for sales representatives.
• Travel up to 50% for customer site visits, field demonstrations, executive briefings, and industry shows.
