Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education or equivalent work experience.
• Industry certifications are a plus (INS, IEA, CPCU, AMIM).
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle moderate to high complexity ocean marine and liability claims.
• Direct external counsel and manage vendors for complex cases.
• Evaluate coverage and prepare coverage position letters.
• Lead investigations and determine settlements with timely closures.
• Present at roundtables to senior claims leaders and underwriters on high exposure cases.
• Travel to mediations, trials and conferences as required.
