Cribl is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a remote US team. You will shape the reliability of our cloud observability platform, contribute to deployment and testing, and drive incident response improvements across distributed services.

You will work with Terraform/Ansible, AWS/Azure, and various observability tools to ensure low latency, high availability, and scalable data pipelines. This role emphasizes autonomy and cross‑functional collaboration within Cribl's herd.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or Ansible) and cloud SDKs.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure, containers and orchestration, and modern CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the lifecycle.
• Measure production systems for availability, latency and health.
• Identify root causes and drive teams toward better operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve reliability and observability.
• Reduce toil through automation and innovative tooling.
• Occasional on-call duties and stand-by coverage.
