Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a remote-first engineering team in the U.S. You will design, implement, and operate observability systems across complex cloud platforms, driving reliability, resilience, and performance.

The role emphasizes automation, on-call responsibilities, and close collaboration with product teams to improve Cribl's telemetry products. The team focuses on high-quality software, scalable infrastructure, and a blameless culture for incident

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as a Code tools like Terraform (preferred) or Ansible.
• Experience working with Cloud SDKs is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration.
• Experience with APM and observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus).
• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the lifecycle.
• Monitor production systems focusing on availability, latency, and health.
• Identify root causes of errors and drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to evolve systems for reliability and observability.
• Reduce toil through automation and innovative tooling.
• Role involves stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
