Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help unlock observability data value as we expand in the U.S. This remote role will contribute to designing, deploying, and maintaining Cribl products with a focus on reliability, performance, and security across a distributed engineering organization.

You will work with a team that ships high‑quality software, leverages cloud platforms, and emphasizes automation to reduce toil.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud platforms.
• Experience with Configuration Management and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration.
• Experience with APM and observability tools such as New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Sentry.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the full lifecycle.
• Measure and monitor production systems for availability, latency, and health.
• Investigate errors and instability in production to drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to evolve systems for reliability and observability.
• Identify and reduce toil through automation and innovation.
• Occasional stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.
