Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote-enabled team in the U.S. You will design, implement, and operate observability solutions across cloud platforms, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.

You will work with distributed teams to reduce toil and improve production quality. The role requires strong experience in SRE practices, cloud infrastructure, and incident response, with a focus on high-quality software delivery and collaboration across

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating observability systems for cloud platforms with best practices.
• Terraform or Ansible experience.
• Experience with Cloud SDKs and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with APM/observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with large-scale continuous delivery environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript on Linux/Mac.
• Experience with blameless incident response.
• Background in Linux systems engineering.
• Experience with incident-response tools (PagerDuty, FireHydrant, Blameless).
• Autonomy and distributed teamwork.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and design patterns.
• Commitment to high quality and testing.
• Insight into business metrics and SLOs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams to improve service delivery and reliability across their lifecycle.
• Monitor production systems for availability, latency, and health.
• Identify root causes of errors and drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product/platform teams to evolve systems and reliability.
• Reduce toil through automation and innovative approaches.
• Stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as needed.
