Cribl is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our remote‑first team in the U.S. You will join a team dedicated to shipping high‑quality software and improving reliability across the entire lifecycle of Cribl's observability platform.

You'll design, implement, and operate observability systems for complex cloud‑based platforms using Terraform or Ansible, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing and operating observability systems for complex cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with configuration management and IaC tools (Terraform preferred, Ansible).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with incident response in a blameless, high-autonomy environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with teams and improve service delivery and reliability across the lifecycle.
• Measure and monitor production systems focusing on availability and latency.
• Identify and drive down toil with automation and innovation.
• Collaborate with product/platform teams to improve reliability and observability.
• Stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as required.
