Job summary

Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert for a 100% on-site role in Germantown, Maryland. The SME will classify and analyze government materials under applicable DOE orders and NSI/RD/FRD procedures at a DOE facility, with relocation support provided.

Must hold an active DOE Q or DoD TS clearance. A Bachelor’s in physical sciences or engineering is required, a Master’s is highly desirable, and about five years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics or engineering required.
• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years in nuclear weapons or related field.
• Strong reading and comprehension of English.
• Ability to relocate to Germantown, MD with relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government materials per DOE orders and NSI/RD/FRD procedures.
• Prepare reports and summaries of RD/FRD/NSI areas for DOE offices.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and program offices.
