Job summary

Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is looking for a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a full-time role in Germantown, Maryland. This position is 100% on-site and provides relocation support.

The SME will perform classification reviews of sensitive government materials related to nuclear weapons and technology. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field, ideally with a Master's degree, and active government security clearance.

Qualifications

• MUST possess an active DOE Q clearance or an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Must understand written English at or above academic grade 15.
• Five years total field and/or program office experience in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government material.
• Engage with nuclear weapon design and deployment processes.
• Support the Department of Energy's Office of Classification.
