Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert for a highly compensated, long-term, 100% on-site role in Germantown, Maryland. The SME will review and classify government materials in RD/FRD/NSI domains, with five years of relevant experience and active security clearances.

Relocation assistance is provided. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in physical sciences or engineering; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences or related engineering field.
• Five years of field or program office experience in nuclear weapons topics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government material per RD/FRD/NSI policies.
• Assess nuclear weapon design, materials, and weapon effects for classification decisions.
• Coordinate with DOE Office of Classification to ensure compliance and proper handling.
