Job summary

Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the DOE Office of Classification in Germantown, Maryland. This is a long-term, 100% on-site position at the DOE facility with relocation support to Germantown.

The SME will review and analyze government materials (RD/FRD/NSI) across topics such as nuclear weapon design, weapon science, and nonproliferation, requiring an active clearance and advanced education.

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in physical sciences or related engineering field from an accredited college.
• Master's degree highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government material (RD/FRD/NSI).
• Address topics: nuclear weapon design, weapon science, nonproliferation, and related areas.
• Relocation support provided for Germantown area.
