Job summary

Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert for a 100% on-site role in Germantown, Maryland.

The SME will be trained to review and analyze government material related to RD/FRD/NSI classifications under DOE orders and procedures, with a focus on nuclear weapons, SNM, ICF, and related technologies. This is a long-term, highly compensated position with relocation support, and requires an active DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the physical sciences or related engineering field.
• Master's degree is highly desirable.
• Active DOE Q clearance or active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classification review and analysis of government material in accordance with laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE procedures for RD, FRD, and NSI.
• Work on topics such as nuclear weapon design, weapon science, and inertial confinement fusion.
• Assess nuclear material production technologies and related counterintelligence aspects.
