Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert to support the DOE Office of Classification in Germantown, Maryland. This on-site, senior role requires expert knowledge in nuclear weapons science and the ability to lead groups, draft white papers, and produce classification guidance.

The position is full-time with relocation help possible for those outside the DMV, and requires U.S. citizenship with a current DoD TS or DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a current DoD Top Secret or DOE Q clearance.
• Adv. degree in nuclear engineering or physical science required.
• Minimum ten years in nuclear weapons-related field experience.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior DOE management on technical issues in SME area.
• Lead working groups and develop white papers and presentations.
• Prepare classification guidance and policy documents per DOE procedures.
