Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET) seeks a Nuclear Weapons Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a highly compensated, 100% on-site role at a DOE facility in Germantown, MD.

Relocation support is provided to the Germantown area. The SME will be trained to conduct classification review and analysis of government material in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE Office of Classification procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science or related engineering field from an accredited college or university.
• Active DOE Q clearance or active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Approximately 5 years of total field and/or program office experience in one or more listed areas.
• Ability to read and understand English at high college level and complete reading assessments as required.

Responsabilités

• Review and analyze classified government materials in accordance with DOE orders and classification procedures for Restricted Data, FRD, and NSI.
• Conduct classification reviews and provide expert analysis on nuclear weapons topics.
• Support DOE Office of Classification at the Germantown, MD facility with relocation as needed.
• Assist in technical reviews of weapons-related technology and safeguards implementations.
