Job summary

Sargent & Lundy’s Nuclear Power Group is seeking a senior engineer for design and modification projects in the nuclear power sector. You will lead engineering tasks, prepare technical specifications, and evaluate vendor bids, with opportunities to interface with clients at their offices or plant sites.

A hybrid schedule requires in-office work three days weekly. The role emphasizes cost estimation, project leadership, and adherence to nuclear industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering, or General Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• PE license is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical systems for nuclear power plants.
• Prepare or review modification packages for operating plants.
• Develop engineering analyses and evaluations for plant modifications and operation.
