Job summary

You will lead project teams and interface with clients on site as needed, contributing to high-stakes reactor projects. Candidates should have a BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (ABET) with 12+ years in the nuclear power industry, and a PE

Qualifications

• Must have a background in mechanical/chemical engineering with nuclear industry exposure.
• Experience applying codes and standards for nuclear plant design.
• Leadership experience on engineering projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify packages for operating nuclear power plants.
• Create or review functional mechanical drawings for nuclear plant systems.
• Perform engineering analyses to support modifications and operation.
• Prepare technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment.
• Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment.
• Study modification options for operating plants.
• Develop engineering cost estimates for client-requested work scopes.
• Visit client offices and plant sites to interface with the client and present engineering status.
• Lead engineering project teams.
