Job summary

Sargent & Lundy in the United States is seeking a senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for nuclear power projects. You will lead design activities for PLC, DCS, HSI, and digital systems, and work on upgrades and modernization across new builds and plant modifications.

Hybrid role with in-office three days per week. Requires ABET-accredited degree and 10+ years in I&C for heavy industry; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS degree in engineering.
• 10+ years in instrumentation and controls design for heavy industrial plants.
• Experience with nuclear plant instrumentation and controls systems.
• Strong ability to liaison with clients and coordinate design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital I&C design activities for nuclear plant projects.
• Develop and review master diagrams, schematics, and calculations.
• Coordinate with vendors on specifications and procurement.
• Perform independent design reviews and client meetings.
