Job summary

Sargent & Lundy’s Nuclear Power Group is seeking an Instrument and Controls Engineer to help digitize existing plants and support new SMR projects. You will interface with project teams and clients, contributing to digital modernization and high-quality design documentation.

The role requires a BS in engineering (ABET), 3+ years in process control design, and strong communication. Hybrid schedule; in-office 3 days weekly; PE license advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from ABET accredited program.
• 3+ years of experience in design engineering for process control systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience reviewing design drawings created by others.

Responsibilities

• Interface with discipline engineers and designers on project teams.
• Work on major process controls projects for nuclear plants.
• Prepare documentation for design input, drawings, and procurement specs.
• Attend client meetings and perform site walkdowns.
• Mentor less experienced nuclear I&C design engineers.
