Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) - Nuclear to lead electrical design for nuclear projects within the Power & Energy Team in Houston. You will guide engineering decisions, review calculations, and coordinate with owners, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to meet safety and project objectives.

The role requires strong nuclear experience, PE licensure, and a deep understanding of NRC/ASME/NQA-1 standards, with possible travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or ability to obtain within a timeframe.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in nuclear or related facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and systems engineering for nuclear generation projects.
• Prepare and review nuclear-grade calculations, drawings, specs, and change packages.
• Coordinate interfaces across disciplines and ensure safety-related compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and teams.
