Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) - Nuclear to lead electrical design and systems engineering for nuclear projects. You will work with utility owners, reactor vendors, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with licensing requirements.

The role covers feasibility through commissioning, with emphasis on Class 1E power systems, safety classifications, and regulatory alignment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a PE license or ability to obtain one.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering, with strong nuclear background desired.
• Experience with Class 1E systems, safety classifications, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for nuclear generation projects and related modifications.
• Design, analyze, and oversee electrical systems including AC/DC power, batteries, and switchgear.
• Mentor engineers, review calculations and drawings, and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
