Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) - Nuclear to provide technical leadership on nuclear projects, including operating plant modifications and new reactor development. You will lead electrical design, systems engineering, and verification across the full project life cycle, coordinating with owners, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires extensive nuclear experience, knowledge of 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B and ASME NQA-1, and a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
• 10+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in nuclear power facilities or advanced reactor projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design, systems engineering, analysis, verification, and technical oversight across the project life cycle.
• Design and modify Class 1E and non-Class 1E power systems, including batteries, chargers, switchgear and protection.
• Coordinate interfaces across disciplines and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure compliance with nuclear procedures.
