Job summary

Leidos invites applications for a Network Operations Center Technician III at Scott AFB, IL. Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification required at start date.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management.
• Expertise in routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, and related Cisco/Juniper gear.
• Active security clearance: Secret at least, with potential Top Secret
• Strong analytical and fault isolation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and update tickets using Remedy.
• Monitor network events 24x7x365 across multiple tools.
• Analyze alarms and identify root causes, coordinating corrections.
• Provide global situational awareness to customers.
• Restore service and coordinate with providers to meet SLAs.
• Conduct reroutes and maintain CMDB documentation.
• Escalate incidents with proper communications and updates.
• Train Network controllers and share O&M procedures.
