Job summary

Leidos is seeking a NOC Technician III to support the DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC) at Scott AFB, IL. The role involves real-time monitoring, incident analysis, fault isolation, and coordination of corrective actions to restore services and meet SLAs.

You will work with routers, switches, and various network elements, providing 24/7 sustainment and situational awareness to leadership and customers, while using Remedy and CMDB for ticketing and documentation.

Qualifications

Active DoD security clearance is required or must be able to obtain Top Secret.
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE) at start date.
Ability to work in a 24/7 operation and handle high tempo incidents.
Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, and performance management.
Expertise in three or more: routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.

Responsibilities

Create and update tickets using Remedy.
Monitor network events in real-time 24x7x365 across multiple tools.
Analyze alarms and correlate faults to determine root causes.
Coordinate fault correction and service restoration with internal and external teams.
Document reroutes in CMDB and provide status to leadership.
