Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Joint Fires Network NOC Technician for the JFN NOC at Scott AFB, IL. The role supports DISA-provided GIG capabilities and DGOC operations in a 24/7 environment.

Primary duties include incident ticketing via ServiceNow/JIRA, monitoring alarms, coordinating fault corrections, and maintaining DISN familiarity. Requires DoD-8570 IAT II and TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification required by start date.
• Availability for 24/7 operational environment.
• Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, or performance management.
• Proficiency in at least two: routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.
• General understanding of network topologies (transport and IP).
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and monitor incident tickets using ServiceNow ITSM+S / JIRA; provide situational awareness to leadership and customers.
• Monitor network events and faults 24/7; analyze alarms, identify root causes, coordinate fixes.
• Notify contacts on incidents; coordinate with service providers to track and restore service; provide global updates.
• Restore networks and services; ensure SLA compliance; provide 24/7 sustainment for outages.
• Demonstrate proficiency with DISN functions (routers, switches, crypto devices); maintain SOPs and tools knowledge.
