Job summary

Leidos is hiring a NOC Technician for the JFN NOC at Scott AFB, IL or Ford Island, HI to support DISA DGOC. The role involves incident management, real-time network monitoring, and fault resolution in a DoD environment, with 24x7 coverage and COLA for Hawaii.

The candidate will triage tickets in ServiceNow/JIRA, coordinate with providers, and maintain SLAs while growing expertise in DISN components and tools. A TS clearance and IAT Level 2 certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) by start date.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment.
• Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, or performance management.
• Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, video services, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.
• Understanding of network topologies, including transport and IP.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow ITSM+S / JIRA.
• Monitor network events 24x7 using multiple tools; analyze alarms and coordinate fault corrections.
• Notify contacts about incidents; provide 24/7 situational awareness to leadership and teams.
• Support fault isolation and troubleshooting; diagnose issues with network elements.
• Restore networks and services; document changes in CMDB; ensure SLAs.
• Assist in training Network controllers; evaluate SOPs and tools; provide technical guidance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DISN functions and provide advanced support.
