Job summary

HPE Aruba Networking is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to drive technical wins for the Nebraska territory. You will blend networking expertise with consultative selling to help customers modernize networks, simplify architecture, and accelerate deployment.

The role requires 5+ years in relevant roles, Aruba experience preferred, and willingness to travel up to 30%. You will engage with enterprise accounts, deliver technical engagements, and collaborate with partners across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturer/partner Sales Engineer or 5+ years in Network Engineer/Architect roles.
• Experience with WIFI, networking protocols, SD-WAN, switching (L2/L3) and LAN security technologies.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN).
• Security protocols (NGFW, SASE/SSE) and network management experience.
• Aruba experience preferred; firewall, SSE, SSE experience preferred.
• Strong customer-facing and consultative selling skills.
• Willingness to travel up to ~30%.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for assigned accounts across the full HPE Networking portfolio.
• Deliver compelling technical engagements (in-person and virtual) and conduct demos.
• Design and document solutions mapping to customer requirements and multi-portfolio offerings.
• Lead proof-of-concepts and evaluations to demonstrate value.
• Win deals by understanding competitive offerings and differentiators.
• Collaborate with partners, product marketing, and engineering for field feedback.
• Enable and grow through the channel with partners and joint opportunities.
• Represent HPE Networking at industry events and meetups.
• Secure technical wins and build long-term trust with customers.
