Job summary

Palo Alto Networks in New Jersey is seeking a domain consultant specializing in network security transformation. You will provide technical guidance on customers' zero-trust journeys and define solutions that align with business imperatives, spanning on-prem, cloud, and security services.

As the main technical contact, you will collaborate with sales, lead customer demonstrations, support RFIs/RFPs, and architect security architectures that strengthen posture while communicating complex concepts

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Strong knowledge of L2-L4 networking (L2 Switching, VLANs, IP routing, OSPF, BGP, route re-distribution, L4 load-balancing).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with customers, demonstrating problem-solving and a can-do attitude.
• Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, BYOD.
• Advanced knowledge of On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to design customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
• Responsible for technical validation projects with customers and partners.
• Architect solutions to strengthen customers' security posture.
• Document high-level design and key use cases for proper implementation.
• Lead conversations about industry trends and product alignment with customer requirements.
• Act as main technical contact for Network Security for RFIs/RFPs.
• Position services to ensure value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as best alternative.
